Renew Your Learn to Skate USA Membership!

All skaters are required to have a current Learn to Skate USA membership
in order to sign up for our classes.
Annual membership is from July 1st - June 30th.

Membership cost $17.25 ($16 + $1.25 processing fee).

If you have been a member of our program in past years, you may opt to have us process the membership renewal on our behalf by adding the membership fee when you sign up for classes or you can visit Learn to Skate USA and renew it on your own. 

COVID-19 Procedures

We are extremely thankful to be able to offer limited classes to our existing skaters during this time.

In an effort to keep our coaches and skaters safe, we must follow our rink's COVID-19 policies.

- Anyone exhibiting the following symptoms will not be allowed in the rink: temperature above 100ºF, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell.
- All class payments must be made online and in advance.
- A maximum of 15 skaters may be on the ice.
- Skaters and coaches must remain 6 feet apart at all times.
- Coaches must wear masks. Skaters may wear masks but it is not required.
- Parents may not enter the rink to minimize contact and keep the facility under allowed person limits.
- Skaters must come to the rink with his/her skates already on.
- Skaters must enter through the front entrance and must exist through the side entrance.
- No rental skates will be available at this time.

REMINDER: 
All skaters must renew/sign up for their Learn to Skate USA membership. Annual membership June 1 - July 31.

Summer II 2020 Session Schedule

Saturdays
11:15am - 11:45am All levels group lesson with Coach Katelyn.
There will be no practice ice.


 

Our Classes


Snowplow Sam 1 - 4
Ages 3 to 5

Designed for younger children to learn the joys of ice skating. After passing through all four levels, skaters will move on to Basic 2.

Basic Skills 1 - 6
Ages 6+

Teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for success in both hockey and figure skating. After passing through all six levels, skaters will move on to Pre-Freestyle.

Pre-Freestyle - Freestyle 6
All ages

Levels comprised of a variety of progressive skating skills, transitions, spins, and jumps.
Adult Classes


Designed for both beginning and experienced adult skaters who wish to start or improve their skating skills.

 

Off-Ice Warm-Up

Focuses on proper warm-up techniques as well as exercises and stretches to improve .
Hockey Power Skating 1 - 4


Focuses on the fundamentals of skating skills, edges, turns, quickness, and agility for players to be successful in practices and games.
Power/Edge Class

Created to help skaters advance more quickly through the basic skills curriculum. Focus on advanced stroking, edges, controlled turns, power crossovers, and other techniques.
Competition Readiness Class
Open to all levels.

Created to prepare skaters for the Snowplow Sam - Basic 6 Elements event in our upcoming Basic Skills Competition. Skaters will practice for the competition in groups just like during the event. 

Skaters interested in competing in other events such as compulsory or program with music events should contact a private lesson coach to prepare. We are happy to connect you with available coaches!

*You must have a membership number with Learn to Skate USA to sign up for classes.*

Your membership will need to be renewed annually. Membership year is July 1st - June 30th.

Keep your membership number safe! It is your lifelong number.

You can view class offerings and descriptions in the event.
Select the "Register Now" button after the listed classes.
Fill out the form with your information and list the skaters you are registering on the next page.
Select the class(es) you are signing up for.
Answer the brief questionnaire (skater's age, parent address and email, and Learn to Skate membership number).
Read and acknowledge the waiver.
