Spring 2020 Session Schedule
11:00 - 11:15 Power/Edge Class
11:15 - 11:45 Basic 5 through Free Skate 6
11:45 - 12:15 Snowplow Sam through Basic 4
Snowplow Sam 1 - 4
Ages 3 to 5
Designed for younger children to learn the joys of ice skating. After passing through all four levels, skaters will move on to Basic 2.
Basic Skills 1 - 6
Teaches the FUNdamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for success in both hockey and figure skating. After passing through all six levels, skaters will move on to Pre-Freestyle.
Pre-Freestyle - Freestyle 6
Levels comprised of a variety of progressive skating skills, transitions, spins, and jumps.
Designed for both beginning and experienced adult skaters who wish to start or improve their skating skills.
Focuses on proper warm-up techniques as well as exercises and stretches to improve .
Hockey Power Skating 1 - 4
Focuses on the fundamentals of skating skills, edges, turns, quickness, and agility for players to be successful in practices and games.
Created to help skaters advance more quickly through the basic skills curriculum. Focus on advanced stroking, edges, controlled turns, power crossovers, and other techniques.
Competition Readiness Class
Open to all levels.
Created to prepare skaters for the Snowplow Sam - Basic 6 Elements event in our upcoming Basic Skills Competition. Skaters will practice for the competition in groups just like during the event.
Skaters interested in competing in other events such as compulsory or program with music events should contact a private lesson coach to prepare. We are happy to connect you with available coaches!
Registering for Classes
Registering with Learn to Skate USA
*You must have a membership number with Learn to Skate USA to sign up for classes.*
Your membership will need to be renewed annually. Membership year is July 1st - June 30th.
Visit Learn To Skate USA to register. Membership cost $16 + $1.25 processing fee.
Keep your membership number safe! It is your lifelong number.

You can view class offerings and descriptions in the event.
Select the "Register Now" button after the listed classes.
Fill out the form with your information and list the skaters you are registering on the next page.
Select the class(es) you are signing up for.
Answer the brief questionnaire (skater's age, parent address and email, and Learn to Skate membership number).
Read and acknowledge the waiver.
Choose your payment option and remember to apply any discount codes if applicable.
